Parent and Community Coffee Hour

Mr. Griffith invites and encourages parents and community members to join him to share input regarding View Ridge Middle School at the Lava Java coffee shop located at the Ridgefield junction just east of the Ridgefield I-5 exit every third Thursday of the month between 7 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.

MSP Online Practice Tests

Below is a link to software now available for parents and students to learn more about MSP online testing, as well as practice for the upcoming assessments (online testing window is April 24-May 31). We encourage you to take some time investigating this link.

Instructions:

v UnderOnline Testing Resources (on the right side of the screen), look for Tutorialsand Online Tools Training and click on MSP Online Tools Training (OTT)and Tutorial (for either Windows or Mac).

v Clickon Run. A setup screen for DRC INSIGHT Online Learning System 2013 willappear. Click on Next and follow the instructions to install. Afterinstallation, there will be 2 separate icons on the computer Desktop: WAOnline Tutorials and Online Tools Training.

WA Online Tutorials are short videosthat provide the student with an overview of sample questions and the toolsavailable during MSP online testing. Students can click on Math (Grades3-8), Reading (Grades 3-8) or Science (Grades 5 and 8) to view the videos.

Online Tools Training provides the studentwith hands-on training on sample test questions. Open the icon, thenclick on Online Tools Training. The student can then selectPractice Tests for Math (Grades 3-8), Reading (Grades 3-8) or Science (Grades 5or 8).
