Fall Sports Athletic Registration
August 18th @RHS 4:00-7:00
In order to provide quicker service and decrease the time spent in lines we have scheduled sessions for each level:
Families with RHS students: 4:00-5:00
Families with RHS and VRMS students: 5:00-6:00
Families with VMS students: 6:00-7:00
Plan ahead for fall sports...football and volleyball begin August 25th at 2:30.
Did you know middle school students can run Cross Country in the Fall with the High School team? If your child is not doing Volleyball or Football and you want to be a part of an exciting, growing athletic program, try Cross Country. XC running is a Fall/Winter sport in which teams and individuals run a race course over natural terrain, grass, water, sand, typically between 1.5 to 3 miles in length. It is both a team and an individual sport. Runners are scored on individual times and on a combined team placing. Teams are made up of boys and girls, middle school and high school athletes. The middle school race is shorter (1.5-2.0 miles ) than the High School distance and is usually the first race of the meet. The middle school athletes train with a modified version of the high school program. We also do a number of social events throughout the season ranging from BBQ’s, Pancake, camp fire runs and beach trips. Summer training is two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday) through the summer starting July 1st at 10:30. Official practice starts August 25that 3:05 at the High School Track.
