  • Attendance
Report absences and tardies to 750-7602 or email holly.andrews@ridge.k12.wa.us by 8:35am the day of your child's absence.  You can also excuse your child's absence by sending a note with your child the day they return to school.  Students should arrive to school by 8:00am (9:00am on Wednesdays) to avoid being tardy.

REMINDER TO PARENTS: Teachers start instruction at 8:05am (9:05am on Wednesdays).  Students arriving late disrupt the learning environment of their classmates and may miss important skill building lessons.

Welcome to Union Ridge!

Union Ridge is located in beautiful and historic downtown Ridgefield. In recognition of the National Wildlife Refuge located in our boundaries, we identify our school as a "Refuge for Learning." We take pride in being the home of the "Tater Tots" and future Spudders!

We have high standards for student achievement and a safe learning environment. We recognize and appreciate the unique gift each student and staff member brings to our school. This year, our focus will be on providing a quality education for all students: taking them from where they are and moving students to their highest possible academic levels. We will do this through providing quality instruction for all students, using rigorous content, providing intervention and enrichment as needed, and increasing our skills in collaboration to meet the needs of students.

Parents and community members are an integral part of our learning community. We invite you to become a volunteer and/or an active member of our PTA. You are invited to visit our school. Please call the school office at 750-7600, to arrange a tour. Thank you for your on-going support for our school as we strive to continue the tradition of academic excellence at Union Ridge Elementary.
