Welcome to Union Ridge!

Union Ridge is located in beautiful and historic downtown Ridgefield. In recognition of the National Wildlife Refuge located in our boundaries, we identify our school as a "Refuge for Learning." We take pride in being the home of the "Tater Tots" and future Spudders!

We have high standards for student achievement and a safe learning environment. We recognize and appreciate the unique gift each student and staff member brings to our school. This year, our focus will be on providing a quality education for all students: taking them from where they are and moving students to their highest possible academic levels. We will do this through providing quality instruction for all students, using rigorous content, providing intervention and enrichment as needed, and increasing our skills in collaboration to meet the needs of students.

Parents and community members are an integral part of our learning community. We invite you to become a volunteer and/or an active member of our PTA. You are invited to visit our school. Please call the school office at 750-7600, to arrange a tour. Thank you for your on-going support for our school as we strive to continue the tradition of academic excellence at Union Ridge Elementary.
