A "policy" is interpreted as being a general statement adopted by the Board of Directors legislatively on a matter or area of interest to be dealt with administratively by the school district.
A "procedure" is an outline of steps to be taken administratively to implement a specific policy.
Policy manuals are available for public inspection and study in the district's central office and at the various schools.
